To find peace in this world, we must first find healing from the bad memories it has given us. This is why some of us go to therapy, turn to art or writing, sometimes just go on vacations to find closure from our past. However, some seek revenge for their trauma at the expense of nothing, and author Fergal Joe shows us that such motivations are possible. Revenge, they say, is best served cold, but at what cost?
The Golden Eagle and The Fiddle of Doom by Fergal Joe follows the story of a man named Rhymes Ramose and his quest to end the world after a man called King Hovercraft kills his beloved sister, Hanneck Ramose. In the quest to seek revenge, he holds the people, the world, responsible for his sister's untimely death. Now people must come together to stop the end of the world. The story begins as a plane crashes through a desert, and the pilot Keith Black asks a man called Captain John Coiners why a ship was left in the desert. John tells him that he was also a captain of a ship called 'Red Dragon.' He also tells Keith the story of the Fiddle of Doom and how his son, Michael, was put into prison after burning a Golden Eagle.
Author Fergal Joe hails from Northern Ireland. After finishing school in Enniskillen, things did not work out, and he went to Erne school. Released in 2021 through the Universal Publication, the 113-page book will enthrall you in its amazing character build-up, the way the author describes a world different from other worlds.
